Marc J. Lane has been again named by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top attorneys in Illinois. Only five percent of lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers.

Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.

Marc is a business and tax attorney, a Master Registered Financial Planner, a Registered Financial Counselor and a Certified Investment Specialist. He is the author of 36 books on corporate organization, management, taxation, personal finance, and social enterprise. Twice a recipient of the Illinois State Bar Association's Lincoln Award, Marc has taught law at Northwestern University School of Law and business in the MBA program at the University of Illinois. He chaired the State of Illinois’ Task Force on Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Cook County Commission on Social Innovation.
